'When you can leave home
You must not leave or be outside of your home except where you have a ‘reasonable excuse’. This will be put in law. The police can take action against you if you leave home without a ‘reasonable excuse’, and issue you with a fine (Fixed Penalty Notice).
You can be given a Fixed Penalty Notice of £200 for the first offence, doubling for further offences up to a maximum of £6,400.
A ‘reasonable excuse’ includes:
- Work - you can only leave home for work purposes where it is unreasonable for you to do your job from home, including but not limited to people who work within critical national infrastructure, construction or manufacturing that require in-person attendance.
We are therefore able to provide our services to UK based Data Centres.
Our personnel will carry a 'Covid-19 Essential Worker Authorisation Letter' detailing the person, qualification and site to be visited and the appropriate qualification letter, this is the C-Net certificate recognising the completion of the Certified Data Centre Audit Professional programme.
We will comply with all necessary covid-19 precautions and requirements whilst on site.
Due to travel restrictions/entry requirements we may not be able to visit another country, however if you require our services please contact us and we will research and price the visit accordingly.
Our New Year offer for EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres (Energy Efficiency) compliance services will now remain valid for all assignments booked in January/February 2021 even if the site visit cannot be undertaken until later in the year.
